My ceiling cat brother Snowy Snugglepants had his first birthday a while back on August 1. My mommy decided to take him on a special mommy and me birthday walk around the condo complex (we usually walk together) Apparently he had a fantastic time hanging out with just my mommy and at the end of his walk, caught a bird in a bush while still being on his harness and leash. Fantastic!!! Here are some cute pictures from his birthday celebration. Here is a link to his YouTube video:

My Mommy has us all ready for Halloween this year with our orange claw caps from Soft Paws. I look extra spooky in these and I really don’t mind wearing them anymore since she loves to outfit us for the various seasons with these color coordinating claw caps.
The fangs are all mine! My Mommy and Daddy love that I have huge fangs. They think it makes me look extra spooky!
Above is my brother Snowy. For a ceiling cat, he’s a great friend to have around.

Snowy Snugglepants
Posted in Pets with tags basement cat, cat, cats, ceiling cat, kitten, new home, Pets, salem, salem spookypants, snow, Snowy Snugglepants, spooky, spookypants on May 6, 2010 by Salem SpookypantsMy humans brought me home a new “brother” on Valentine’s Day. I was weary of this little white six month old kitten especially since he’s my arch enemy ie.. a ceiling cat!!!! They confined the little devil to the second bedroom to let him get acclimated for a few days. We corresponded through the door. He seemed very naive… perfect for corrupting. On the third day the devil escaped and started to explore the rest of the condo. I watched intently as the white little kitty checked every little nook and cranny throughout MY home. Then it donned on me, I can use this little kitten to my advantage MOL! So I befriended him within a few hours after formerly meeting, to the surprise of my human parents.
I actually like having the little guy around. We love to play all day long, wrestle and even nap with each other. Sometimes I even groom him because “white fur” is sooo last season!
Anyways, my humans renamed the little devil from “Pal” (horrible name, I know) to Snowy Snugglepants. I enjoy Snowy overall. It’s really fun to have a little brother that I can boss around all day. Here are some cute pictures of the little bugger.
My First Experience With Snow
Posted in Pets with tags basement cat, black cats, cat, cats, Pets, salem, salem spookypants, snow, spooky, spookypants, winter on October 14, 2009 by Salem SpookypantsA big storm came last year and brought this weird white stuff to the outside world. My humans could tell that I was curious as to what is was so they let me outside to check it out (With their supervision).
They carried me down the back steps and placed me down on top of this weird coating of white stuff. BURRR this stuff is COLD!!!!! I tried to walk on it and I kept sinking in (meanwhile my humans laughed at my discoveries)
I quickly discovered that being a black cat in this white snow would not help my hunting skills or help me blend in like I normally can. I spent maybe a total of five minutes investigating this stuff until I had enough and indicated to my human daddy that I wished to be picked up and brought inside.
My conclusion is that I am not a fan of snow and I rather just watch from my warm window seat!
Meow!
